KMBS Orientation Session for new MBA participants.
KMB held an orientation session for MBA Intake 12 students early October. Yasmeen Al-Musallam – KMBS Board of trustees’ member, and Manager of HRD International, gave the welcome address, and stressed the importance of students to KMBS describing them as “partners in success”. She added that success comes from effort and commitment, and urged participants to work hard wishing them all the best on the MBA programme.
This was followed by a presentation by KMBS Director Mrs. Rosemary Lloyd, who explained the schedules, and many of the rules and regulations that participants need to know during their time at KMBS. She also informed the participants of the names and duties of the administration staff, and emphasized that all staff at KMBS are willing to assist and support them at any time.
This was followed by a short presentation from Mr. Ahmed Al-Humoud – President of KMBS Student Association (KMSA) who welcomed the new participants and talked about the ‘pain and pleasure’ of the MBA programme!
Finally, Prof. Hernan – Head of Academic Affairs, welcomed the participants in the presence of some of the faculty members – some of who were involved later in the orientation session in providing workshops and various ‘breaking the ice” activities.
The participants who attended the orientation session have now already completed their first course at KMBS.
A third group for intake 12 MBA will commence early December, with registrations until end November. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply now.
