Graduation Ceremony 2009 – On the 10^th May, 2009, in the magnificent setting of the hold of the world’s largest Dhow, 142 students from KMBS gained their MBA degrees.  The Business Guest of Honour was Mr. Ibrahim Dabdoub – Group CEO, NBK and Member of KMBS Board of Trustees.  Following the speech by Mr. Dabdoub, and in the presence of the Minister of Education and Higher Education – Nouriyah Sabeeh Al Sabeeh, several members of the Council for Private Universities, the Chairman of the KMBS Board of Trustees – Dr. Abdulaziz Sultan, and many other VIPs, and some 700 guests, the students went on stage one by one, to receive  their awards,   These were presented to the students  by the  Minister, assisted by  Mr. Khaleel Al-Abdullah, President of KMBS, and Dr. Bernard Veltman, Acting Dean of Maastricht School of Management.At the end of the joyous and moving ceremony, the faculty formed a receiving line for emerging Graduates to congratulate each one of them.  It was a very happy climax to what had been more than two years of very hard work and commitment from the Graduating students.
